Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance engineer to plan and monitor preventive maintenance for polishing machines. You will support installation, modification, overhaul, and ongoing improvement projects, coordinating with production and QA to ensure stable operation.

The role requires a 3+ year background in related fields, a mechanical engineering degree, and proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office. Occasional overtime or on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or professional degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, MS Project and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor PM activities for polishing machines.
• Support machine installation, modification, overhaul, and improvement projects.
• Coordinate with production, QA, and other departments to ensure stable machine operation.
• Prepare maintenance reports, machine history records, and technical documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and recommend critical spare requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Follow up machine trouble and basic machine troubleshooting.
