Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects from start to finish.
• Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings, layout plans, and design documentation using AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D) and other CAD/BIM tools as needed.
• Monitor project progress—including drawings approval status, materials approvals, work method statements, and coordinate with contractors and procurement as required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to clarify specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to take measurement.
• Maintain accurate project documentation—including reports, as-built drawings.
• Provide regular project status updates to management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or relevant discipline)—or equivalent relevant diploma + experience.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role (minimum 2–3 years experience).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D/3D drawing; knowledge of other CAD/BIM software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, Plant 3D) is a plus.
• Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project documentation tools.
• Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills—able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and flexibility to handle site-related tasks and occasional weekend commitments if required.
• Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures (depending on project type).
