Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects from start to finish.
- Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings, layout plans, and design documentation using AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D) and other CAD/BIM tools as needed.
- Monitor project progress—including drawings approval status, materials approvals, work method statements, and coordinate with contractors and procurement as required.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to clarify specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to take measurement.
- Maintain accurate project documentation—including reports, as-built drawings.
- Provide regular project status updates to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or relevant discipline)—or equivalent relevant diploma + experience.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role (minimum 2–3 years experience).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D/3D drawing; knowledge of other CAD/BIM software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, Plant 3D) is a plus.
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project documentation tools.
- Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills—able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and flexibility to handle site-related tasks and occasional weekend commitments if required.
- Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures (depending on project type).
