A global technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead product development in thermal and fluid-based systems. This role requires strong experience in mechanical design, validation, and technical leadership. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years in product development, along with proficiency in PTC Creo. The position includes collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers, while ensuring designs meet performance and quality targets.
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in mechanical product development for thermal or fluid-based systems. The role focuses on the design, validation, and technical leadership of Coolant Distribution Units (CDU), supporting both new product introduction and customer-specific projects. It combines engineering ownership with collaboration across global teams and suppliers. The role includes full lifecycle responsibility for subsystems and modules within CDUs, from concept through production launch. You will work closely with thermal, electrical, and controls engineering teams, as well as operations, supply chain, and test groups, to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and quality targets. This position is ideal for engineers who take initiative, enjoy mentoring others, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
