Mechanical Design Engineer (Thermal Management System)

To design a cooling system to control and regulate the temperature of a device or system by managing the heat.

To perform thermal analysis by using Ansys simulation tool.

Utilize 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical models and technical drawings.

Ensure designs meet functionality, durability, and manufacturability requirements.

Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles to optimize designs.

Work with the manufacturing team to develop and test prototypes.

Collaborate with electrical, software and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization.

Assist customer support group with on field design related to customer requests and issues.

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics with second upper class or above.

Proficiency in using Ansys software for simulation and analysis.

Familiarity with Thermal Management system.

At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automation or industrial equipment industry.

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical modelling and drafting.

Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.

Familiarity with pneumatics, and motion control systems used in industrial machinery.

Understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

Ability to create and maintain technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
