A leading engineering firm in Malacca City is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to design automation systems. The role requires project coordination, strong technical skills in CAD software, and the ability to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in automation design. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on innovation and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Able to handle projects independently.
• Work experience in related field experience.
• Ability to independently coordinate with customer for machine buy-off schedule.
• Should possess responsibility and have strong communication and action-oriented.
• Strong experience in automation design and CAD software.
• Familiar with pneumatics and motion controls.

Responsibilities

• Produce a quality design to meet internal & external expectations.
• Explore improvement opportunities and make proposals for corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare all parts drawings, info for user manual and maintain a proper technical recording.
• Provide guidance to new or Design Engineer & help them by providing solutions or other technical information.
• Always provide solutions for projects & arrangement for improvement.
• Attend to production & customer design-related issues & provide commitment on the improvement action.
• Follow up closely on every single design that has been done.
• Make sure the design output meets the design input.
• The design must go through a proper review & verification before sending out for production, fabrication or purchasing & sourcing.
