SRM Integration (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks a Mechanical Draftsperson to produce precise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models. You will collaborate with engineers to interpret concepts into workable drawings and maintain design documentation.

Requirements include a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or CAD, 1–3 years in drafting, and proficiency with SolidWorks. GD&T knowledge and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering, CAD, drafting or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as mechanical draftsman or CAD drafter in manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with GD&T and mechanical design principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, and detail precise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to translate concepts into drawings.
• Ensure drawings meet company guidelines, standards, and local regulations.
• Update drawings based on ECNs, site conditions, or client feedback.
• Prepare and check BOMs, part lists, material specs, and fabrication details.
• Organize and maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and technical archives.
