Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Materials Management Storekeeper & Lorry Driver to manage construction materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse and deliver them safely to project sites. A valid Goods Driving License (GDL) is mandatory.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, inventory control, and coordinating material deliveries with project teams. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to operate warehouse equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Physically fit to handle materials and equipment.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Store and organize materials in warehouse, yard, and store areas.
• Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock checks.
• Prepare, pick, pack and issue materials according to site requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries to project sites per schedules.
• Safely operate company lorries for transportation of materials to sites.
• Maintain driver and vehicle safety and report defects promptly.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading to prevent damage.
• Keep documentation like delivery orders and stock records up to date.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure timely delivery.
