Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate material inventory and manage production operations. The ideal candidate should hold a degree related to supply chain management and have around 10 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and excellent command of English, with a competitive salary range. Relocation to Thailand may be required.

Qualifications

Job description

• Willing to relocate to Thailand
• Able to speak Mandarin to manage Mandarin speaking stakeholders
• Month salary range THB 150,000/month (RM18,000 - 20,000/month)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to plan, schedule, and monitor material inventory movement, ensuring production targets are met.
• Oversee scheduling operations using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to accurately track and measure material requirements for factory supply.
• Analyze production performance against planning targets to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and enhance direct material inventory turnover, adherence to minimum order quantities (MOQ), bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, and obsolete stock through corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Hong Kong Sales and Procurement teams on sales and purchase order inquiries, including pull-ins, pull-outs, and cancellations.
• Manage warehouse operations to support production and inventory control.
• Manage purchasing orders and shipping logistics in alignment with MRP requirements.
• Oversee supplier management to ensure reliable sourcing and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry in sizeable companies; with at least 3 years of managerial experience.

Required Skills
