A leading global company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Material Planner to ensure the right materials are available for production. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain and a degree in Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities include managing material plans, collaborating with suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ensures that right materials are available at the right time, with the right quantity and at the right cost to support production schedules and meet customer demands. Develops and maintains material plans that consider demand forecasts, production schedules, inventory levels, and supplier lead times. Reviews material inventories to limit slow movers and obsolescence.
