Job summary
A leading recruitment company is seeking an experienced professional for an offshore drilling position in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A Bachelor's degree and T-BOSIET certification are required for this role. Responsibilities include managing equipment and material logistics, preparing operational reports, and ensuring safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in offshore oil & gas drilling.
- Three years of experience handling drilling materials and equipment.
- Valid medical certificate and T-BOSIET certificate required.
Responsibilities
- Issue DMSR and MLL for equipment mobilized to rig site.
- Inspect material delivered to rig site.
- Monitor movement and rental equipment on rig site.
- Prepare operational activity reports for night shifts.
- Prepare manifest for equipment back loaded to shore base.
- Liaise with counterparts on material and equipment matters.
- Support Drilling Supervisor and clients throughout drilling campaign.

Positions Descriptions
- Issue Diesel, Material, Service Request (DMSR) and Material Loading List (MLL) for equipment required to be mobilized to the rig site.
- Inspect all receiving material delivered to the rig site from shore base.
- Keep equipment inventory and monitor movement and rental equipment on the rig site.
- To prepare night shift operational activities reports to be endorsed by Senior Drilling Supervisor.
- Prepare the manifest for equipment back loaded to shore base.
- Monitor the movement of supply boat/barges and remains on board.
- Liaise with counterpart in Miri/Kuala Lumpur and ASB on material and equipment related matters and boat/vessel schedule.
- Support Drilling Supervisor and clients Drilling Team throughout Drilling Campaign.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, High School diploma or college.
- Minimum five (5) years experiences in offshore oil & gas drilling in similar capacity of three (3) years experiences in handling drilling materials, equipment and tools with relevant knowledge in lifting regulations and Health, Safety and Environment awareness.
- Valid medical certificate and T-BOSIET certificate.
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and can work well in a team environment
