Job summary

A leading confectionery manufacturer located in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist. The role involves ensuring safe warehouse operations, effective loading and unloading of goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, a certificate in forklift handling, and knowledge of SAP in an FMCG environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations specifically handling Forklift, PT, Reach truck and Double deep.
• Minimum Certificate/License in Forklift Handling.
• Knowledge for basic warehouse management system (SAP) in FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe warehouse operations and comply with HSY HSE standards.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as Lorries/Trucks.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays/bins following stock control instructions.
• Ensure on-time delivery of production/customer orders.
• Performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the MHE's battery.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe warehouse operations and comply with HSY HSE standards and the Occupational Safety and Health Act
• To ensure the MHEs are in good condition and report any breakdown to the Team Leader by using the Daily forklift checklist.
• Ensure operation adheres to HSY Good Warehousing Practice and Quality policies.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as Lorries/Trucks.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays/bins following stock control instructions.
• Checking loads are secure stacking empty pallets.
• Ensure effectively picking of production/customer orders without undue delay and accurately.
• Ensure on-time delivery of production/customer orders.
• Ensure timely confirm all the transfer orders.
• To ensure all the transactions in the VISITRACK system are well updated.
• Involves in monthly stock count and cycle count.
• Performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the MHE's battery helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary.
• Operates order picker/RT and forklift in and around the warehouse.
• Ensure the highest inventory records accuracy is attained
• Ensure maintain controlled documents that will support inventory integrity
• Ensure monthly and yearly stock take is done accurately
• Ensure correct stock rotation/movement of stock within the picking/storage area, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and optimum warehouse utilization.
