Job summary

Halliburton in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level specialist to support operations in heat treating, plating/coating, and related precision-testing tasks. You will operate and maintain furnaces, hydraulic presses, coatings equipment, and plating baths as part of a quality-driven manufacturing team.

The role requires around 2 years of related experience and the ability to follow engineering specifications and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in metal processing/quality
• Ability to operate and maintain heat treat furnaces, presses, plating equipment
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and reading engineering specs/blueprints

Responsibilities

• Performs operations to change the physical properties of materials including heat treating, plating/coating, straightening, and hardness testing
• Operates heat treat furnaces, hydraulic presses, spray painting equipment, and plating baths
• Uses precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards
• Follows written or verbal instructions including engineering specifications and blueprints
• Proficient in one discipline
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience

• Operates and maintains equipment such as heat treat furnaces, hydraulic presses, various spray painting equipment, and plating baths
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments, which may include hardness testers, to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards
• Follows written or verbal instructions which may include engineering specifications, blueprints, etc
• Proficient in one discipline
• Proficiency typically acquired through 2 years of related experience
