Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or business is required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in inventory planning, logistics or distribution.
  • Chemicals or water treatment knowledge is an advantage.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong time management, sequencing and resource management skills.
  • Self-motivated with urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability.

Responsibilities

We design, supply and operate a range of water systems, from Oil & Gas applications to municipal water, to microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy industrial wastewater treatment. Our portfolio of technologies includes solids-contact clarification, membrane & media filtration, electrolysis, digestion, evaporation, ozone/UV disinfection and more. Our portfolio also includes chemicals & monitoring solutions, start-up & operation, membrane & ion exchange products, and custom engineered equipment.

Job Description
  • Ensure smooth end-to-end Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations for the Chemical Solutions
  • Monitoring (CSM), and Technologies & Products (T&P) business lines through planning and monitoring of the processes, attending to customer enquiries, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Work closely with the local sales team, Supply Chain team and other functional teams in order to streamline business processes and enhance customer partnerships to ensure that all supply chain activities are in line with business objectives
  • Continuous improvement of operations, resulting in cost savings and service improvements
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with our Water Technologies’ policies, procedures, and government regulations
  • Share best practices with counterparts across the region and globally

Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, Customer and Company Division EHS and Integrity policies

  • Developing and leading by example on a positive safety culture that drives down the number of recordable incidents and accidents, as well as first aids
  • Report all occupational injury, illness, near miss incidents and environmental spills regardless of its severity in Gensuite
  • Lead and sustain the S&OP process by actively engaging commercial teams and PSI Leads through demand planning
  • Ensure customer requirements are met in accordance with agreed schedules through stock availability
  • Work with commercial, PSI and business operations team on NPI and other special projects in alignment with the company’s Medium-Term Plan (MTP)
Inventory Management
  • Be capable of determining the business inventory management strategies and objectives
  • Know how to set up an effective inventory control system and understand the different classes of inventory
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through various techniques including inventory audits, quarterly physical inventory stocktake, and cycle counting
  • Manage inventory level to achieve target with and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories
Third Party Warehouse & Toller Management
  • Ensure 3PL vendors meet company requirements on EHS and Compliance through regular audits
  • Analyse gaps/ failure in 3PL vendors and set up corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely
  • Monitor quality of tolled products
Product & Regulatory Compliance
  • Accountable locally for Supply Chain and business regulatory compliance by ensuring permits are available where needed
  • Monitor regulation changes and ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal
Brilliant Fulfilment
  • Drive operations to achieve Supply Chain KPIs such as On Time Commitment (OTC), freight and logistics costs targets, inventory etc.
  • Actively drive Operation Excellence to deliver better customer outcomes
  • Participate and promote continuous improvement activities, health and safety awareness, and adherence to supply chain management
  • Initiate and verify cost saving programs, i.e. optimize tiered pricing with tollers, FTAs
  • Monitor and manage SC performance and SC partners via KPIs, benchmarks, defined service levels
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Inventory Planning, Logistics or Distribution. Expertise in Chemicals or Water Treatment is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of local regulations related to Chemicals
  • SAP Knowledge is preferred
  • Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability
