Job summary

OCBC Malaysia invites applications for a Risk and Control role within the bank. You will drive internal process reviews, monitor deals, and coordinate control activities to mitigate risk.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and possess teamwork and a positive attitude. Preference for Treasury product knowledge and a willingness to learn and contribute to BCP/DR testing and risk awareness programs.

Qualifications

Risk and Control

KEY FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives internal process review, identify potential gaps and provide mitigation controls.

• Handle daily review of deals deletion done by Global Market and obtain approval from designated approving authority

• Perform daily legal trawl on Treasury Customer database as and when there’s notification received from RCU / Legal Dept

• Prepare monthly management / KRI reporting according to submission deadline

• Coordinate and review half yearly assessment for RCSA and RRSA submission

• Ensure system access matrix align to job functionality and profile

• Establish control procedures in mitigating risks arising from products launch, regulatory changes or process changes

• Monitor and follow up on with respective sections in the department to ensure timely closure of audit items/ risk gaps

• Act as the BCP coordinator for the department, review and ensure the BCP plan is updated. Coordinate for periodic DR and BCP Testing

• Promote and instill risk awareness programs in the department

Customer Service

• Liaise and work closely with stakeholders to ensure SLA/SLI is met.

• Attend to internal customers’ enquiries and handle exceptional request on ad hoc basis.

Quality Initiatives

• Maintain good quality of work i.e. zero defects and minimize reworks.

• Identify and put in action plan for areas for process improvement.
