Marketing Trainee - Supply Chain Planner (Start ASAP)

Manage supply chain optimization, order allocation, and collaborate with multiple departments to support factory and market trends.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall company supply chain optimization planning and order allocation to factories based on capability.
  • Data analysis to support product allocation decisions by factory.
  • Monitoring order trends versus market trends and providing supporting data.
  • Centralized planning and batch dipping of product families to minimize factory changeover and conversion.
  • Managing factory inventory and stock levels to maintain healthiness.
  • Planning new product allocation and coordinating with Product Pillar, Factory, and R&D Center on qualification and launch progress.
  • Analyzing future order trends with Marketing Team to prepare factories for market shifts and prevent order shortages.
  • Liaising with Production, R&D, Packing, and Factory Planner on marketing or customer enquiries.
  • Attending and participating in meetings as required.
  • Handling improvement projects assigned by superior.
  • Conducting inspections and audits as required.
  • Taking additional responsibilities as instructed by immediate superior.
  • Following scope of authority as per selected work process procedures/instructions.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Administration, Management, or equivalent from reputable universities.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written).
  • Results-oriented with strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision and as a team player.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 environment is an added advantage.
