We are looking for a Marketing Team Lead who excels in both strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will take full ownership of marketing campaigns from start to finish, lead a small team, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring ideas to life and drive business impact.
Job Description
- Take full ownership of the business performance and marketing strategy for the ShopeePay products assigned to you.
- Develop a deep understanding of the products, customers, and market landscape, staying informed about trends and competitor movements to identify new growth opportunities.
- Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns, ensuring each initiative is delivered timely and achieves measurable results.
- Collaborate with Product, Business Development, Regional, and Creative teams, as well as external partners to design and deliver impactful marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, extract insights, and translate findings into actionable improvements to optimize future campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and guide junior team members, ensuring quality execution, accountability, and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or other relevant field of studies from a reputable university
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Proven experience managing complete marketing campaigns from strategy to execution and post-campaign review, with at least 3 years of practical experience.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Background in digital, financial technology (fintech), financial services, or insurance marketing targeted at the mass market. Candidates from other industries must demonstrate strong transferable skills and adaptability.
- Project and Stakeholder Management: At least 5 years of experience managing projects and coordinating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Performance Marketing Knowledge: Good understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics such as click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per install, return on advertising spend, etc.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data, derive insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Good command of English and Malay for campaign communication and campaign execution.
- Teamwork and Work Ethic: A collaborative, reliable, and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Criteria
- Campaign Management Tools: Experience using advertising platforms, in-application content management systems, customer relationship management tools, or internal marketing dashboards to manage and track campaigns.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior team members and guiding their development.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Exposure to regulated or financial product communications, ensuring message accuracy and compliance with local standards.
- Language Proficiency: The ability to communicate in Mandarin will be considered an advantage.
