Job Summary

Motul Malaysia offers an exciting opportunity for a creative, passionate, and highly driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen Motul’s brand presence, drive customer engagement, and contribute to business growth in Malaysia. With strong creative acumen and effective business communication skills, you will play a key role in project coordination and campaign execution. This position provides exposure to both digital and offline marketing activities, enabling you to elevate our brand awareness to greater heights.

This role will be based in Motul Malaysia Office in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Support the execution of brand and trade marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies, promotions, and campaigns to support sales growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
Brand & Communication
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels and materials.
  • Assist in creating marketing collateral, product brochures, and presentations.
  • Coordinate digital content updates for websites, social media, and newsletters.
Campaigns & Activations
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, retail, trade, events).
  • Liaise with distributors, dealers, and partners for brand activation and trade program initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for exhibitions, roadshows, and sponsorship events.
Content & Digital Marketing
  • Assist in content creation (social media posts, visuals, videos) in line with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyse digital campaign performance and propose improvements.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and propose new ideas for engagement.
E-commerce
  • Support planning and execution of online marketing campaigns and promotions in collaboration with the e-commerce enabler and internal marketing team.
  • Work with the e-commerce enabler to extract insights from platform dashboards and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze consumer purchase behavior and competitor activity in the online channel.
Reporting & Budget
  • Track, monitor, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and KPIs.
  • Assist in managing marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Provide regular reports to the Marketing Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Regional Marketing.
  • Coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Build strong working relationships with external partners to support marketing initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience with strong exposure to brand and trade marketing.
  • Experience in FMCG, automotive, or lifestyle industries will be an advantage.
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing or working with e-commerce enablers is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing fundamentals, and digital campaign analytics.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and an eye for design/branding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
