Marketing Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Kuching Branch

Responsible for growing Kuching branch’s general insurance business by building strong customer relationships, recruiting agents, and achieving both sales and underwriting targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and recruit new business prospects while expanding and managing the existing portfolio.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales targets while ensuring underwriting profitability.
  • Manage and review policy renewals, ensuring appropriate coverage terms and sums insured.
  • Provide professional insurance advice and tailored recommendations to meet customers’ needs.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to address service gaps and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Gather, analyze, and share market intelligence on new products, customer requirements, and emerging industry trends.
Job Specification

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in general insurance, with a focus on agent recruitment and servicing.

Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in general insurance or agency offices are also encouraged to apply.

  • Strong technical knowledge across all classes of general insurance.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin or other local Chinese dialects is an added advantage.
