This role is central to executing Eppendorf’s Go-To-Market strategy across the markets of Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam). Operating within a 100% distributorship model, the primary challenge is to counter market commoditization by empowering our channel partners to sell on value, not price.

Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Product Lifecycle Management

    • Understand the needs of customers in various segments of the life science industry.
    • Analyze industry trends, applications, competitor landscapes, and customer preferences to define optimal product-market fit and addressable market size.
  • Lead the Product Lifecycle
    • Oversee the complete product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out.
    • Craft compelling value propositions and set strategic pricing.
    • Gather competitor intelligence and drive product updates to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
  • New Product Introduction and Launch Management
  • Own and Lead New Product Launches
    • Ensure seamless execution of Eppendorf's NPI process.
    • Manage pre-launch preparation, oversee the launch process, and guide post-launch activities.
    • Ensure clear deliverables and alignment across teams.
  • Execute Integrated Marketing Campaigns
  • Own, execute, and monitor the performance of your marketing plan across online and offline channels.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, continuously measuring and optimizing for maximum impact.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Channel Marketing
  • Develop Comprehensive Marketing Plans
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, PLS) and channel partners to create annual channel marketing plans, initiatives including defined marketing funnel strategies.
    • Include detailed targeting strategies and position the portfolio to specific segments and accounts.
    • Demonstrable success working within a distributor-led, channel-focused, or indirect sales model is essential.
  • Leverage and Adapt Global Marketing Materials
  • Adapt and refine global marketing resources for local relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Realization team to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Content, Events, and Lead Management
  • Develop and manage engaging content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, and email marketing.
  • Implement strategies to generate qualified leads for the sales team, utilizing a variety of marketing techniques.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
