Your Challenges
This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product-market fit, competitor intelligence, and the ability to lead the full product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out for the Separation and Instruments portfolio. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute impactful marketing plans, leveraging global resources while adapting them to local market needs. This role is central to executing Eppendorf’s Go-To-Market strategy across the markets of Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam). Operating within a 100% distributorship model, the primary challenge is to counter market commoditization by empowering our channel partners to sell on value, not price.
Responsibilities
- Market Research and Product Lifecycle Management
- Conduct Thorough Market Research
- Understand the needs of customers in various segments of the life science industry.
- Analyze industry trends, applications, competitor landscapes, and customer preferences to define optimal product-market fit and addressable market size.
- Lead the Product Lifecycle
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out.
- Craft compelling value propositions and set strategic pricing.
- Gather competitor intelligence and drive product updates to maintain a competitive edge.
- Adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- New Product Introduction and Launch Management
- Own and Lead New Product Launches
- Ensure seamless execution of Eppendorf's NPI process.
- Manage pre-launch preparation, oversee the launch process, and guide post-launch activities.
- Ensure clear deliverables and alignment across teams.
- Execute Integrated Marketing Campaigns
- Own, execute, and monitor the performance of your marketing plan across online and offline channels.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, continuously measuring and optimizing for maximum impact.
- Strategic Partnerships and Channel Marketing
- Develop Comprehensive Marketing Plans
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, PLS) and channel partners to create annual channel marketing plans, initiatives including defined marketing funnel strategies.
- Include detailed targeting strategies and position the portfolio to specific segments and accounts.
- Demonstrable success working within a distributor-led, channel-focused, or indirect sales model is essential.
- Leverage and Adapt Global Marketing Materials
- Adapt and refine global marketing resources for local relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Realization team to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Content, Events, and Lead Management
- Develop and manage engaging content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, and email marketing.
- Implement strategies to generate qualified leads for the sales team, utilizing a variety of marketing techniques.
- Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising or equivalent Life science industry experience.
- Demonstrable experience in marketing, managing social media platforms, campaigns, collaboration and branding for an organization.
- Proficiency in analyzing relevant marketing metrics for data-driven decisions.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing marketing workflows to qualify leads and transition them to sales.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- High competency in using Microsoft Office software programs including CRM.
