Job summary

A leading logistics technology firm in Shah Alam is seeking a qualified public relations manager to develop strategies for brand management and external communication. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and Mandarin, possess a relevant degree, and have 3-4 years of marketing experience. Qualifications

  • At least 3-4 years of marketing experience is preferred.
  • Rich practical experience in local marketing is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall public relations strategies.
  • Manage brand image for positive external communication.
  • Handle brand crises and formulate response plans.
  • Establish relationships with mainstream and new media.
  • Plan and organize media briefings and press conferences.
  • Oversee content publishing on various platforms.
  • Plan brand promotion campaigns and PR events.
  • Monitor public opinion and coordinate crisis responses.

Job description

Develop and implement overall public relations strategies and annual plans

Manage brand image to ensure consistent and positive external communication

Handle brand crises and negative public opinion, and formulate response plans

Media Relations Maintenance

Establish and maintain strong relationships with mainstream media, new media, and self-media

Plan and organize media briefings, press conferences, media interviews, etc.

Write and publish press releases, media bulletins, feature articles, etc.

External Communication Content Management

Oversee content publishing on platforms such as the company website, WeChat official account, Weibo, LinkedIn, etc.

Ensure consistency in brand visuals and communication tone

Review and approve various promotional materials and external copy

Event Planning and Execution

Plan brand promotion campaigns, PR events, exhibitions, forums, and other activities to enhance brand influence

Provide PR support and coordinate media collaboration during event execution

Crisis Public Relations Response

Monitor public opinion and promptly identify potential crises

Coordinate internal and external resources to formulate and execute crisis response plans

Implement measures to restore brand image after a crisis

Qualification

Proficiency in speak, write and read English

Fluent in Mandarin as the role require to liaise with HQ China

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field.

Applicants with work experience in the same field will be given priority, with at least 3-4 years of marketing experience;

Have an in-depth understanding of the local market environment and rich practical experience in local marketing;

Have an in-depth understanding of online marketing, quick thinking, clear thinking, strong awareness of brand management, and familiarity with various social network marketing methods.
