A leading retail specialist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for their F&B brands. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in marketing within the Food & Beverage industry. Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English communication are essential for success in this role.

Plan and manage all marketing, advertising, publicity and promotional events for the Group’s F&B brands according to VG guidelines.
Define customer‑centric marketing strategies, processes and procedures for promotions and brand initiatives.
Manage budget and set direction for the brand to achieve financial and business objectives.
Support the Brand’s Business Goals, the CRM and build the base of VIP customers.
Develop and manage the Brand annual business plan, A&P budget and monthly marketing calendar for optimum utilisation of funds to increase ROI, and attain necessary approvals prior to execution.
Develop strategies for new customer recruitment and CRM plans for top‑of‑mind recall.
Create and publish all marketing campaigns in line with marketing plans.
Make periodic competitor store visits to better understand the business marketing needs.
Ensure all marketing materials are approved by Brand and/or Directors.
Build effective working relations with key F&B stakeholders.
Partner with 3rd party and Valiram Brand(s) to develop seasonal marketing and PR strategies.
Plan and direct advertising, public relations, and promotional events and strategies for the Brand(s).
Interpret Brand(s) programmes for the media and the public.
Develop social media campaigns to build online brand awareness.
Frequently act as a Brand(s) spokesperson, representing officially at media interviews and company meetings with approval from Head–F&B/Vice President–Marketing.
Initiate, develop, and maintain local, national and international media relations.
Develop and maintain good relationships with mall management for tie‑up, mall advertising, event & real‑estate opportunities.
Plan and implement event calendar for positive brand building through promotional activities.
Conduct media and press events for seasonal launches.
Plan & execute multiple local press days & consume events to drive brand equity.
Coordinate ceremonies, press conferences and other events or special projects.
Identify and monitor VIP Customers.
Build and implement appropriate plans to manage VIP customers and increase their visit.
Prepare monthly marketing reports for Country management analysis.
Ensure timely submission of all marketing reports including post‑event reports.
Review and research marketing campaigns of competitor brands.
Track marketing performance, gather consumer insights and evaluate programme effectiveness.
Deliver post‑program and promotion analysis and key best practices to Management.
Minimum: a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or any related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in Food & Beverage or comparable retail environment.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle stress, show resilience and adapt to changing market trends.
Pleasant personality with positive attitude.
Good persuasion and negotiation skills.
Fluent English, both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
