A leading healthcare marketing subsidiary in Malaysia is seeking an experienced marketing manager to develop and implement strategies for their product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry. Strong skills in digital marketing, strategic planning, and team collaboration are required. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration and regular travel.
To develop and assist in implementing marketing strategy for the Menicon product portfolio. The major responsibilities covered are the strategic management and strategic / tactical marketing support for Malaysia region. The role involves strategic leadership, brand stewardship, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive category growth and enhance brand equity.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute marketing plans, portfolio strategies, and new product launches that aligned with company directions & achieve business objectives.
Lead campaign development and performance tracking across multi-channel platforms.
Responsible for preparation of the monthly demand forecast.
Consumer & Professional Engagement:
Build brand connections with consumers, patients, eye care professionals, and channel partners.
Responsible for the positioning, pricing, promotion, packaging and portfolio placement of company brands and communication executions to the eye care professionals/consumer.
Performance & Financial Management:
Achieve business objectives including sales, market share, profitability, and inventory targets.
Manage marketing budgets and expenses effectively.
Cross‑functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Commercial Operations, and Strategy teams to align marketing and commercial plans.
Lead planning meetings and contribute to quarterly sales conferences.
To work with RA/QA on ensuring requirements by local authority are fulfilled e.g. new product registration, advertisements submission and any other relevant matters.
Drive marketing thought leadership and innovation through data analytics and strategic partnerships.
Foster talent development and build marketing competencies within the team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Minimum of 7 years related experience in marketing, preferably in the health care industry is required.
Strong background in digital marketing, brand equity, data analytics, and agency management.
Excellent strategic thinking, business acumen, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work as a team.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Regular co‑travel with sales team.
Travel required both domestic and internationally whenever needed
