The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of MNC Automotive Industry marketing initiatives in Malaysia, translating strategic direction from the Head of Marketing into effective campaigns, activations, and dealer marketing programmes. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role plays a critical hands‑on role in driving brand visibility, campaign delivery, and marketing operations across the country.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, PR, and event channels in line with approved strategies.
- Manage end-to-end execution for product launches, promotions, roadshows, and auto or lifestyle events.
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to brand guidelines and messaging frameworks.
- Work closely with dealer partners to implement marketing initiatives that drive showroom traffic and lead generation.
- Coordinate dealer activations, local events, and tactical promotions nationwide.
- Support the review of dealer marketing proposals and track execution and outcomes.
Agency & Partner Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with creative, media, PR, and event agencies.
- Brief agencies, manage timelines, and ensure quality delivery of marketing assets and campaigns.
Performance Tracking & Marketing Operations
- Track campaign, digital, and event performance, providing regular reports and insights to the Head of Marketing.
- Manage assigned marketing budgets and ensure accurate tracking of spend.
- Maintain marketing calendars, asset libraries, and operational documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Dealer Network, and HQ stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and effectively executed.
- Support HQ aligned campaign localization and rollout in the Malaysia market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience executing integrated campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.
- Experience working with dealer, distributor, or retail networks is highly advantageous.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in automotive, retail, or lifestyle sectors is a plus
