The official entry of Gentlewoman into the Malaysian retail market marks a significant milestone in the brand’s international expansion. Celebrated for its minimalist aesthetic and timeless sophistication, Gentlewoman is set to establish a strong presence in Malaysia through retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and digital channels, catering to the growing demand for fashion-forward yet accessible apparel.

To drive this growth, we are seeking a creative, results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and brand development of Gentlewoman in Malaysia. This pivotal role will manage the brand’s identity, campaigns, and market presence, ensuring consistent messaging and impactful customer engagement across all channels. The Brand Manager will also oversee the 360° marketing plan, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work closely with principals, agencies, and partners to strengthen the brand’s position in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the brand’s annual marketing calendar, A&P budget, and 360° marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Implement brand positioning and communication strategies approved by senior management.

Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Lead and oversee brand communications across digital (social media, website, e-commerce), performance marketing, public relations, and events.

Manage both internal marketing teams and external agencies (digital, media, PR).

Monitor and guide content creation for websites, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, media, and influencers through product seeding, advertising initiatives, media events, and collaborations.

Organise impactful brand activations, including CSR campaigns, workshops, pop-up stores, and promotional events.

Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams on product launches, seasonal assortments, pricing strategies, and new product orders.

Track campaign performance, digital analytics, and sales impact to optimise future strategies.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in brand management, marketing, or retail category management, preferably in fashion or lifestyle retail.

3. Proven track record in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing A&P budgets, and driving brand growth.

4. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

5. Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

6. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
