Reporting To: Regional Chief Executive Officer/Chief Executive Officer
Position Summary
- Establish the marketing strategies of the hospital according to the company objectives.
- Manage the public relations and marketing functions of the hospital for the public and corporate companies.
- Identify area of growth and plan marketing activities accordingly.
- Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities in order to project positive branding and image of the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish marketing contacts with corporate companies via correspondence or in person for the Hospital.
- Develop close liaison with the media and advertising fraternity, maintaining the prospect of long term strategic alliances.
- Conduct presentations on the hospital profile and services available and coordinate contract written up with the client.
- Represent the hospital regarding services inquiries from insurance companies or other third-party clients.
- Use data and managerial input from Columbia Asia's facilities, design, prepare and distribute marketing materials pertaining to hospital product and services.
- Procure the marketing materials - folders, profile, brochures and corporate gifts and ensure they are in accordance to brand standard.
- Keep abreast of changes in the healthcare market, and potential opportunities for the hospital.
- Coordinate CME programs organized by the Hospital for General Practitioners in the state.
- Lead and establish health education programs for local corporate clients.
- Lead the Marketing team in its effort to coordinate and manage the public awareness and health education programs/ forums for the public.
- Attend to queries with regards to hospital services and facilities from the public and/ or corporate clients.
- Perform any other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Requirements
- Relevant Diploma or PR/ Marketing Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in hospital/ medical field, experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies.
- Have technical marketing and formal presentation skills.
- Proven experience in customer and market research.
- Have good command in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
- Experience with relevant software applications.
- Able to work independently.
