Job summary

Hon-Yan Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak, is hiring a Marketing Assistant to support campaigns and digital content across social platforms. This full‑time role offers hands-on exposure to brand marketing, event coordination, and media creation in a dynamic team environment.

You will assist in promotions, plan and coordinate events, create posts and visuals, and help manage social channels while developing your marketing career within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or above in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Able to communicate in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must have own transport.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Basic skills in photo/ video shooting and video editing, with the ability to create digital content.
• Creative, good communication skills and proactive.
• Familiarity with AI content/ video creation tools will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assistant in product promotions, product sharing sessions, launches and other marketing activities.
• Assist in event planning, preparation, scheduling and on-site coordination.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and other relevant parties for marketing activities.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including scheduling, correspondence and organisation of materials
• Support the management of the company's social media platforms and create digital content.
• Photo/ video shooting and basic video editing.
