• Represent quality in engineering forums, recommending improvements to system and product reliability.
• Manage excursions, perform risk assessments, and disposition discrepant materials using data-driven methods.
• Implement early detection systems for excursions to enable rapid responses to issues.
• Address customer-reported manufacturing concerns with engineering solutions.

The Role and Impact As a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring Intel's products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will oversee the qualification of manufacturing ramps to high volume, develop inspection and testing mechanisms, and conduct quality assessments. Your contributions will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver exceptional products efficiently and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify manufacturing ramps to high-volume production while ensuring the sustainability of product and process quality and reliability.
• Specify inspection and testing mechanisms to confirm compliance with quality standards for products and production equipment.
• Conduct audits, quality assessments, and evaluations of materials, processes, and techniques used in production.
• Monitor health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability, identifying optimization opportunities for cost, ramp, and volume efforts.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and proactive quality programs to foster a quality-focused mindset in factory operations.
• Represent the quality and reliability function in engineering and product development forums, making recommendations to enhance system, process, and product reliability.
• Manage excursions, conduct risk assessments, and disposition discrepant materials through data-driven approaches such as statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Implement systems for early detection and containment of excursions, ensuring rapid responses to potential quality issues.
• Address customer-reported manufacturing concerns, providing engineering solutions that improve product quality and customer experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering relevant field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in quality or reliability engineering, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data-driven decision-making methods, including machine learning for structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and inspection/testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk assessment practices, excursion management, and supplier auditing techniques.
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
