Job summary

Entegris in Malaysia is seeking an Engineering Technician II, Manufacturing to support setup and tuning of assembly equipment, assist in new product transfers, and qualify manufacturing processes.

You will apply Six Sigma tools, create work instructions, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to drive process improvements and reliability in manufacturing lines. The role also involves developing automation projects and training for operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role with exposure to assembly steps, MES WIP troubleshooting, and analytical reporting.
• Ability to set up and operate assembly equipment.
• Experience with Process FMEA and Control Plans.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Engineers in planning, developing, and implementing methods, processes, and automation techniques for new and existing products.
• Develop process control systems and establish good manufacturing practices for assembly operations.
• Apply Six Sigma tools and DMAIC methodology to solve technical issues.
• Create documentation for work instructions, quality alerts, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support troubleshooting of process issues and report during shifts.
• Assist in designing and developing new jigs and fixtures for automation projects.
• Involve in monitoring assembly processes for engineering runs and non-POR builds.
• Conduct training for Supervisors and operators.
