Job summary

HP Malaysia seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee daily manufacturing and remanufacturing activities, ensuring efficient production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to meet regional requirements.

You will lead a team, drive quality initiatives, manage inventory, and monitor expenses while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. A four-year degree in a related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or commensurate work experience in supply chain/manufacturing/operations management.
• Typically 2–4 years of job-related experience and 0–2 years of management experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing and remanufacturing activities across multiple product lines to meet regional requirements.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities; supervise a team of non-exempt contributors.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data and recommend process improvements and cost reductions.
• Oversee inventory control including materials, components, and finished products.
• Monitor expenses and manage capital expenditures.
• Prepare reports on KPIs and manufacturing metrics.
• Conduct talent management: recruitment, performance management, coaching, development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
