Job Description

• Prepare and manage product costing reports to ensure accurate financial records for manufacturing operations.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with the production team to monitor inventory levels and ensure proper cost allocations.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes related to manufacturing operations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for plant operations.
• Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial processes.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manufacturing Finance Analyst (Japanese Speaker) should have:

• Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) and English for effective communication.
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates with MBA in finance is preferred
• Strong knowledge of product costing and manufacturing accounting principles, Candidate with minimum of 2-4 years of experience in preferred.
• Experience working within the professional services or manufacturing sector.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and SAP is preferred
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
