Position Summary

We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to serve as a center of expertise for dissemination, guidance and implementation of Focused Improvement (FI) methodologies across the factory to identify, analyse and eliminate losses.

A day in the life of a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

Ensure adherence to corporate and factory standards to provide consistent measuring, monitoring and improvement of performance whilst safeguarding assets. Specifically GI-21.010 (Performance Measures for Manufacturing), GI-21.908 (Manufacturing Standards for Costing & Planning), Capacity Utilisation, SAM, Manufacturing Standard, NCE Operational Excellence savings tracking and NSAT.

  • Improvement Potentials: Identify areas for improvement in operations and assist businesses in driving the appropriate project. Conduct focused improvement projects, or coordinate and lead multi-functional teams to improve operational performance
  • FI team facilitation and coaching: Train & coach DOR members on uses of CI tools. Support the establishment and the sustainability of a culture of Continuous Improvement across site.
  • System & processes: Review and improve business & production processes. Optimize the use of systems to maintain and improve competitiveness.
  • Reporting: Ensure the factory reporting systems in tracking performance, prioritize and monitor factory projects are well in place. Cascade factory KPIs to improvement opportunities into the factory.
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of digital tools aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity
What Will Make You Successful
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Food Tech & Food Science.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a related role. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Interest in digitalization is required.
  • Digitalization related project experience is advantageous.
  • MS Office knowledge is required.
