Job summary

A leading technology manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking an engineering support professional for PCBA manufacturing. You will lead improvements in Lean manufacturing and provide technical support related to equipment operations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledge of statistical tools and Industry 4.0 is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are accepted; experience in equipment or PCB assembly is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of statistical tools, IoT, and Industry 4.0 is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PCBA manufacturing equipment engineering support.
• Lead project improvement on Lean manufacturing/OEE/Operation efficiency.
• Setup work instructions, FMEA, control plans, SPC, preventive maintenance and training related to SMT equipment operation.
• Work with external suppliers and internal cross‑functional teams to resolve issues related to equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Continuous equipment and manufacturing operation process improvement.
• Provide technical support to value stream team to achieve business and quality indices.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are accepted. Working experience in SMT chip placement equipment or PCB assembly manufacturing would be an added advantage.
• Well versed with statistical tools, IoT, Industry 4.0.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
