Job summary

Trajan Scientific and Medical in Malaysia offers a hands-on internship in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. You will work with engineers on maintenance, validation, and process improvement while gaining exposure to modern equipment.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you will develop practical engineering skills, partake in cross-functional projects, and receive mentorship from senior engineers. Internship allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• For internship, pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
• Basic CAD knowledge in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and equipment is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
• Assist installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Help prepare engineering documentation, work instructions, and records.
• Assist with CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Support process optimization and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities per procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams.
