Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
• Strong knowledge of jig/fixture design and lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting production teams and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with NPI transfer processes in high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Experience with laser drilling or micro-machining applications.
• Proficiency in CAD software and SPC.

As a Manufacturing Engineer in MKS, you will be supporting complex laser drilling applications. This role is critical in driving Support transfers Product, continue optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring seamless production support. • Analyze workflows and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and cost.

• Provide technical guidance to production technicians to resolve issues quickly.
• Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure production schedules and customer ship dates are consistently met.
• Support qualification of OEM End-of-Life (EOL) parts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

• Partner with supply chain and quality teams to manage part transitions effectively.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
• Strong knowledge of jig/fixture design, process validation and lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting production teams and resolving technical issues.
