Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia invites applications for a junior tax assistant role. You will prepare data entries and tax computations for individuals and companies under supervision, and assist in compiling documents for tax submissions.

Fresh graduates with a diploma/degree in accounting or taxation, and Mandarin language proficiency, are encouraged to apply. You will maintain deadlines, support liaising with clients, and coordinate with the Inland Revenue Board as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship/exposure to tax is an advantage
• Basic understanding of Malaysian tax framework
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic data entries and tax computations for individuals and companies under supervision
• Assist in compiling supporting documents for tax submissions
• Follow up with clients for outstanding tax-related documents
• Keep track of filing deadlines and update internal trackers
• Assist seniors with correspondence to LHDN (Inland Revenue Board)
