Job summary

Wizwiz AI in Malaysia is seeking a Chinese Short Drama Content Data Annotator to review Mandarin content, assign genres and themes, and ensure guideline consistency. This role blends on-site and remote work to support AI data quality.

You will coach annotators, document decisions, and collaborate with project managers to meet quality, productivity and reporting targets while handling detailed, repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Chinese Language / Linguistics / Media Studies).
• Strong written and spoken Mandarin with ability to understand Mainland Chinese content.
• Familiarity with short drama genres, storytelling conventions and themes.
• Proficiency in English or Bahasa Malaysia for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to explain decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review Chinese short dramas and identify genres, themes, plot elements, relationships and content labels.
• Perform quality assurance on annotations to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Coach annotators on guidelines and provide actionable feedback.
• Interpret Mandarin dialogue and culturally specific references for accurate classification.
• Document annotation decisions and recurring quality issues with examples.
• Escalate ambiguous cases and collaborate with project managers to resolve them.
• Monitor quality benchmarks and suggest improvements to guidelines and workflows.
• Meet project quality, productivity and reporting expectations while handling repetitive tasks.
