Job summary

SPROUTSUCARE EDUCATION CENTRE PLT is seeking a Mandarin-speaking daycare teacher to guide Standard 1–6 SJK(C) students in a supportive environment. You will help with homework, revision, and building strong study habits using Mandarin materials.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with excellent Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English communication skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training provided.

Qualifications

• Mandarin-speaking teacher for Standard 1–6 (SJK(C)) students.
• Proficient reading, writing, and communication in Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach SJK(C) primary students (Standard 1–6) with homework and revision.
• Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom activities.
• Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor students' academic progress and encourage good learning habits.
• Communicate students' progress with parents.
• Work closely with teammates to support students' overall development.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education or any related field.
• Able to read, write and communicate in Mandarin.
• Mandarin is required as you will be teaching SJK(C) students using Mandarin learning materials.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, responsible, and a good team player.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
• Experience in teaching, tuition centres, childcare or education is an added advantage, but training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Mondays – Fridays: 8am - 5pm / 930am - 630pm
