JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the formulation, development, and execution of EPF Operations Division’s 3-Year Strategic Plan. Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of performance management frameworks across Operations Division and Departments using the Balanced Scorecard methodology. Ensure the timely and structured development of departmental plans for Product Management and Marketing, aligning all initiatives with divisional strategic objectives and organizational priorities.
JOB SCOPE
1. Strategic Planning and Performance Management
- Lead the formulation and development of the EPF Operations Division 3-Year Strategic Plan and oversee the preparation of Departmental Business Plans.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Performance Management frameworks using the Balanced Scorecard methodology, ensuring alignment with EPF’s strategic objectives.
- Review, validate, and analyse Operations Scorecard performance, trends, and forecasts to support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee the monitoring of divisional and departmental KPIs, ensuring that achievement gaps are addressed through timely and effective action plans.
- Champion the execution and progress tracking of strategic initiatives and action plans, ensuring alignment with targets and organisational priorities.
- Lead the coordination and target-setting for EPF Customer Charter (Janji Kami) to ensure service delivery commitments are met.
- Lead the preparation of EPF Strategy Meeting (ESM) content for Operations Division.
- Supervise and review the development of internal communication materials (e.g., Townhall presentations, management briefings)
- Oversee the preparation of Operations Division’s quarterly press release inputs related to Operations Division in the EPF Annual Report.
- Serve as the principal liaison and reference point on strategic and performance management matters for Operations Division.
2. Reporting and Governance
- Lead and review the divisional and departmental reports, including:
- a) EPF 3-Year Plan progress updates and Departmental Business Plan;
- b) Balanced Scorecard performance achievements and KPI tracking reports;
- c) EPF Customer Charter (Janji Kami) results and improvement plans;
- Monthly and quarterly updates on initiative progress, milestone tracking, and impact analysis;
- d) Internal achievements and divisional performance summaries (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of all reports to EPF’s management.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and performance excellence across the Operations Division.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with honours in the field of Statistics / Actuary/ Corporate Administration / Business Administration / Business Economics or equivalent qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian government.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in strategic planning, performance management & analysis and managing stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn, work in a team and share knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written correspondence) in a professional manner with stakeholders.
