Job Summary

As Manager, Servicing Platforms Delivery, you will lead the delivery of existing Middleware and BPM applications, ensuring high stability and smooth transition while championing an agile transformation culture within your team and across the business.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage applications delivery of existing Middleware and BPM applications assigned through agile resource management to support business strategy
• Enhance various maturity levels of existing Middleware and BPM applications in line with global strategies
• Manage and review system changes to adhere to global integration and strategy
• Optimize system delivery via proper adoption of CI/CD architecture
• Maintain application availability with timely resolution of issues and problems
• Ensure applications adhere to Prudential Audit and Risk standards

Change Management

• Drive the culture of agile transformation and change within your team and with business
• Continuously learn and master new technologies and techniques

Team Management

• Establish clear accountabilities and authority levels for direct reports and build a strong culture of accountability and performance to ensure delivery of business and application support goals
• Build and maintain organizational options and succession planning within the team
• Promote new ways of working, customer centricity and an agile mindset
• Provide ongoing mentoring for team members
• Monitor and manage team morale

Job Specification

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university in Business, Insurance Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Professional qualification in Life Insurance (e.g., MII, CII, LOMA, AII, ICA) is an added advantage

Experience

• 5-10 years of application development – digital platform experience
• Experience managing a cross‑functional team and delivering applications
• Critical problem solving, execution and change management skills
• Ability to inspire cooperation and coordinate activities across teams
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and Agile software development methodology
• Technical proficiency in programming languages and technologies:
  • Frontend – HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Java (Full stack), ReactJS, AngularJS, React Native
  • Languages – Python, Ruby, Java, etc
  • API technologies – REST, Swagger, API Gateway, SOAP
  • DevOps tools – Jenkins, Bamboo, etc
  • Platforms – Linux, AIX, Windows with shell/batch scripting
• Familiar with cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• Familiar with data management, SQL and NoSQL databases

Knowledge

• Life Insurance industry best practices
