A leading financial institution in Malaysia seeks a candidate to lead the Non-Retail modelling team to develop credit models for the commercial and corporate portfolio. The role requires over 7 years of banking experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include preparing credit scoring reports and ensuring compliance with regulations. Lead the Non-Retail modelling team in the development of Credit Models for Commercial and Corporate portfolio.
Lead projects related to Credit Analytics and Reporting functions and responsibilities.
Work closely with vendors and other users from related Departments/Units in implementing the models.
Prepare monthly Credit Scoring Report for submission to MRCC/BRC.
Lead the identification, monitoring and resolving credit issues in the development/enhancement of new/current models.
Lead the Facility Risk Rating implementation, monitoring and reporting.
Review and where necessary, enhance existing policies, guidelines and manuals which relate to Credit functions.
Carry out any duty or ad-hoc assignment assigned by Head of the Division / the Bank’s Senior Management and the Board from time to time.
Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.
