A major banking institution is seeking a Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee the coordination of the global RCM project. Job Description
What you will do:
  • To provide project management expertise to manage the ongoing coordination and implementation of the global RCM project.
  • To ensure the APAC RCM remains current, accurate and consistent with approaches taken in other jurisdictions.
  • To be responsible for working with First and Second Lines of Defence to identify the key risks, controls and monitoring to be undertaken, to address the risks presented by the requirements the different business lines are subject to.
  • Engagement with APAC Compliance teams to enhance or develop, as appropriate (on an ongoing basis), the following elements within the RCM tool:
    • Regulatory requirements / environment
    • Inherent risk assessments
    • Controls
    • Policies and procedures
    • Residual risk assessments
    • Issues management
    • Monitoring and testing approach
  • Develop and maintain local procedures and approach documents with regards to the RCM framework and use of the RCM tool.
  • To continue to evolve the RCM tool in an agile manner.
  • To provide relevant business manager support to APAC Compliance.
  • To take up any ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned from time to time.
  • Reviewing, analysing and mapping data.
  • Assist in Compliance periodic reporting across regions.
  • Produce MI for Governance packs.
Must have:

  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Ability and willingness to accept accountability and ownership, demonstrate initiative, work with limited direct supervision and support effective and efficient cross-unit co-operation
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Nice to have:
  • Ideally educated to at least first degree level with a relevant degree, hold a recognised relevant professional qualification.
