Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality operations. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing quality, including 3 years in a managerial role. Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA team across all quality operations (incoming, in-process, outgoing, and customer feedback).

Establish, implement, and maintain ISO and customer-specific quality systems.

Act as the main liaison for customer audits and quality-related communications.

Ensure quality KPIs are tracked, analyzed, and improved.

Oversee product quality inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance.

Investigate quality issues and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to maintain consistent quality.

Plan and execute internal audits, supplier audits, and continuous improvement projects.

Train and develop quality team members and enforce compliance across departments.

Perform any task as and when requested by the superior.

Approve quality-related documentation, procedures, and reports.

Halt production in the event of critical quality issues.

Authorize release of final products to customers.

Communicate directly with customers on quality matters.

Requirements

Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in Box Build, PCBA, or electronics manufacturing environment is preferred.

Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards.

Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, etc.).
