A leading technology and logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Manager for Governance Strategy & Risk to shape procurement governance and risk frameworks. This role involves developing policies, managing supplier risk, and ensuring integration of sustainability practices into procurement operations. Candidates should have strong experience in procurement governance and excellent leadership skills. Onsite role with regional scope across all entities.
Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) at Grab plays a crucial role in Procurement as they are responsible for Procurement policy, Procurement processes and procurement platform at Grab globally. The Procurement G&I team work on different projects and deliverables, some of which are short-term, medium-term, and long-term. These projects aim to simplify processes, improve reporting,maintaining the policy and process design and improvements, authoring SOPs, platform enhancement, and new systems assessment and testing.
The Manager, Governance Strategy & Risk is a strategic enabler within the Procurement Governance & Intelligence (G&I) team, focused on shaping and embedding the Source to Contract governance, risk, and ESG agenda across Grab's Procurement function. You will translate Procurement strategy into workable standards, policies, and playbooks, and ensures that risk and sustainability considerations are integrated into day-to-day procurement operations.
You will report to and work with the Head of Procurement G&I to design frameworks, process, oversee supplier risk management, and act as a deputy on governance matters. You will complement the Procurement Business Process & Systems PIC by focusing on policy and risk content while ensuring these are operationalized in Oracle Procurement and third party risk management workflows.
This role is onsite, with regional scope across all Grab entities.
