Job description

GCH Retail is seeking an experienced and proactive Leasing Manager to manage and grow our leasing portfolio across our retail complexes (e.g., Giant Hypermarkets and other branded outlets). The successful candidate will be responsible for securing tenants, negotiating leases, and ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain quality tenants
• Negotiate new leases, renewals, and amendments in line with company goals
• Prepare tenancy documents (LOI, LOO, Tenancy Agreement, etc.) and ensure compliance
• Maintain updated records on occupancy, rental rates, and tenancy schedules
• Conduct market research on rental trends and competitor activities
• Coordinate with operations, fit-out, and legal teams to support tenant onboarding
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and agents
• Monitor lease expiry and rental income performance
• Support budgeting and reporting of leasing performance

Qualifications

• Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain quality tenants.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leasing, retail property, or real estate.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to handle tenancy documentation and leasing operations independently.
• Good understanding of retail leasing market and mall operations.
• Mandarin speaking preferred (due to communication needs with Chinese-speaking stakeholders).
• Willing to travel for meetings and site inspections as needed.
• Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and agents
• Experience monitoring lease expiry and rental income performance
• Experience supporting budgeting and reporting of leasing performance
