A Malaysian utility company is seeking a Training Manager to oversee training activities and development programs. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Management or Human Resources, at least 10 years of experience, and be certified as a HRD Corp Trainer. Job description

Ensure all training activities are implemented in accordance with approved scope, budget, and timeline.

Collaborate with other Human Capital divisions to design and implement learning and career development programs that enhance employee and organizational capabilities.

Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop annual training plans aligned with organizational priorities.

Monitor and analyze training budgets and expenses for optimal utilization.

Design and deliver both functional and soft skills training to meet current and future organizational needs.

Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation in compliance with ISO standards.

Manage relationships with training vendors to ensure quality program delivery and outcomes.

Ensures employee training records are maintained and updated in the training database.

Liaise with the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) to ensure full utilization of available training funds.

Lead Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives under the Human Capital and Administration Division (HCAD).

Requirements:

Degree in Management, Human Resources Development or related field from a recognized University.

Minimum 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in Learning and Development.

Proven ability to design, conduct and deliver training programs/ modules, including both soft skills and functional skills.

Certified HRD Corp (HRDF) Trainer.

Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Good interpersonal skills and personality.
