A leader in telecommunications seeks an experienced professional to lead the design of enterprise-grade network solutions, including SD-WAN and SASE implementations. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in network design, a degree in a relevant field, and expertise in routing protocols and firewall platforms. This role requires extensive client engagement and technical leadership capabilities.
Lead the design of enterprise‑grade Campus LAN, SD‑WAN, and SASE solutions.
Develop high‑level and low‑level network designs, including topology diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and security policies.
Evaluate and recommend network technologies and vendors based on client requirements.
Oversee and execute end‑to‑end deployment of network infrastructure.
Configure and integrate firewalls, routers, switches, and SD‑WAN appliances.
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third‑party platforms.
Establish operational procedures for monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
Conduct performance tuning, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
Provide post‑deployment support and optimisation services.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and present technical solutions.
Lead technical workshops, presentations, and training sessions.
Act as a trusted advisor for network strategy and transformation initiatives.
Produce, update, review and approve Trouble‑shooting Knowledge Base, Operations & Maintenance technical, Operation Readiness Checklist, UAT checklist, MOP documentations, etc. as compliance to Managed Services industry certifications (ISO 27001/2, etc.).
Review and approve Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base for initial investigation by Tier 1 & 2 NOC.
Review and approve of technical documentation part of Operations & Maintenance SOPs for training materials, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
Degree in Networking, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.
Exposure to ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
Professional Certification – any of the below will be advantageous: ITIL, CISCO (CCNP, etc.), Fortinet (NSE 4, 5, 6), Certified of Datacentre Professional/Advanced, Certified IP Engineer (CIPE), other networking related.
7+ years in Network, IP Packet, Cloud. Hands‑on experience in enterprise network design and implementation.
Deep understanding of IP networking, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and VLANs.
Expertise in SD‑WAN technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, etc.).
Strong knowledge of firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower).
Experience with SASE frameworks and cloud‑delivered security models.
Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform).
Proven track record with Tier 3 Deep Technical Support (based on ITIL Processes), meeting response and resolution KPIs of Managed Services.
