ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leader Support: Coaching leaders and managers on building a high performing team through performance management, retention strategies and organizational design to strengthen business outcome.
- Policy Guidance/Coaching: Provide coaching, guidance to leaders on HR Policies and processes including facilitate sessions with leaders on performance and focal planning, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. Additionally, serve as a trusted resource for leaders facing complex HR challenges, helping them navigate difficult situations with employees while ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.
- Audit and Compliance: Accountable for gaining a comprehensive understanding of compliance laws, remaining current on all HR-related policies, and ensuring that policies and document records are updated in response to changes in employment law. Effectively communicate these policies to managers and employees.
- Support and coordinate Audits: Ensure that HR policies are fully compliant with the applicable IMS audit framework – RBA & IMS include any other external / customer audits and company policies.
- Employee Grievances: Support employee grievances on site by complying to our internal processes and guideline including appropriate escalation to the right PIC. (i.e e-voiceout, employee feedback form).
- Government/ Statutory Liaison: Oversee statutory requests, audits, and related documentation as needed by government agencies. Prepare and present necessary reports, including specialized reports related to employee and labor relations, for government agencies as needed.
- Legal and other requirements: Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal and other requirements related to employment laws, benefits and labor relations including staying updated on changes in labor legislation and ensure that HR policies, guideline and practices align with these changes.
- Site HR representative: Act as the primary HR liaison at the site level, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and support for operational activities and initiatives. HR representative in the VOB provides advise on human resources-related topics.
- Change Management: Coach leaders in navigating organizational changes and transformations. Help communicate change initiatives effectively, address concerns.
- Collaborate: Collaborate across the Human Resource, Legal, Country and other functions to deliver intended outcomes.
- Employee Civility: Promote and maintain employee civility during times of crisis, such as natural disasters, ensuring a supportive environment during emergency responses and recovery efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Communications / Law or relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in HR
Preferred
- Knowledgeable and well versed in policies, guidelines , documentations and audit requirements for all sites.
- Practices transparency, open communication and able to provide accurate information during audit sessions.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Proven experience in a similar HR business partnering role, with a focus on supporting senior leadership.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Knowledge in Human Resources in a Manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Creative and proactive problem solver with an understanding of the caregiving industry
- Adept at navigating new technologies and experience.
- Strong sense of ownership in a fast‑paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence leaders at all levels.
- Thorough understanding of best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
