We are seeking an experienced Manager – Human Resource to manage end-to-end HR functions for our cargo handling operations. This role involves workforce planning, employee relations, statutory compliance, and foreign workers administration, supporting a manpower-intensive 24/7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for operational and support staff
  • Oversee HR operations, including attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and HR administration
  • Manage foreign workers affairs, including coordination with agents and sub‑contractors
  • Handle FOMEMA medical examinations, work permits, levy payments, renewals, and compliance matters
  • Liaise with and ensure compliance with JKKP, JTKSM, Immigration Department, and Ministry of Home Affairs
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and grievance handling
  • Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support performance management, training, and staff development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, safety regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Act as an HR business partner to operations and management teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8–12 years of HR experience, preferably in cargo handling, logistics, or manpower‑intensive industries
  • Hands‑on experience managing foreign workers and dealing with Malaysian statutory bodies
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR compliance
  • Experience managing large, shift‑based operational workforces
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
