A major retail establishment in Putrajaya seeks an experienced fit-out coordinator to lead and manage the fit-out processes for tenants. To lead a team of fit-out coordinators in ensuring the design layout is realized in a timely fashion, in close liaison with contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

Pre-Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To provide design and creative input and technical coordination for shop fit-out.
• To raise requisitions and liaise with the Project Department on base building work.
• To liaise with base building consultants pertaining to technical issues.
• To make recommendations to the Tenancy Approving Board regard to fit out works.

Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To monitor the overall progress of work for the tenancy fit-out.
• To liaise and coordinate with Leasing, Building Services, Security and Safety Department with regard to fit-out works.
• To monitor fit-out works and ensure contractors comply with approved design and address any technical issues that may arise.

Post Fit Out / Construction Stage

• To carry out inspection before opening of shops with Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department upon completion of fit out works and certify compliance.
• To supervise rectification works in close liaison with contractors and Leasing, Safety and Building Services Department in the event of non-compliance.

Special Project

• To head specific project work as assigned by the management within the Company.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in retail fit-out and design.
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Must display professionalism and confidence
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
