Group financial reporting and consolidation

In charge of monthly consolidation and reporting of group financial statements (profit or loss, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows)

Preparation of the monthly group financial report and variance analysis for senior management

Preparation of quarterly financial report to the board audit committee and board of directors, including the schedule of recurrent related party transactions

Preparation of quarterly interim financial report for filing with Bursa Malaysia

Preparation of statutory consolidated financial statements

Preparation of financial sections other than the financial statements section in annual reports

Coordination and liaising with the external group auditor for the statutory yearly audit

Submission of the Group and the company’s audited statutory financial statements to the Malaysian Business Reporting System

Participate in other ad-hoc financial or accounting projects when required by management

To provide accounting standards advice to the financial reporting unit as and when required

Parent company financial reporting

Preparation of monthly parent company management accounts and balance sheet schedules, including variance analysis. Preparation includes the posting of recurring JVs and IC documents.

Preparation of statutory parent company financial statements

Budget and financial planning

Coordination and preparation of the consolidated annual budget

Assist in the preparation of the consolidated annual business plan

Coordination and preparation of the parent company’s annual budget

Preparation of budget clearance against purchase requisitions for the parent company
